Alms-giving, or dāna, is essential to the sustainability of a Buddhist monastery and the continuation of its spiritual services. Support from the community enables monks to maintain their monastic life, share the Buddha’s teachings, and offer guidance, meditation, and compassionate service for the wellbeing of all.
Enrolling in our Sunday School provides children with the opportunity to learn the teachings of the Buddha in a supportive and nurturing environment. Students develop moral values, mindfulness, and self-discipline, gaining guidance that supports personal growth, ethical living, and a positive foundation for their future.
Our monthly membership subscription provides essential support for the ongoing activities of the charity. Membership contributions help sustain meditation classes, educational programmes, and community initiatives, while enabling members to actively participate in and support the continued growth of our charitable mission
Donations play a vital role in supporting our charitable projects and community services. Financial contributions enable us to deliver meditation programmes, educational activities, and outreach initiatives, ensuring that we can continue to serve the community, promote wellbeing, and extend compassionate support to those in need.
As part of our charitable mission, our Buddhist monks are available to visit educational institutions, workplaces, and correctional facilities to provide guidance to both children and adults on mindful living, meditation, and the principles of leading a purposeful and ethical life. In addition, they conduct structured meditation and mental wellbeing programmes aimed at promoting inner peace, emotional balance, and personal development.
